The Bunker Property Management Office (PMO), as part of its strategic initiatives, conducted the 2nd Quarterly Earthquake and Fire Drill for all Bunker personnel last June 13.
Building on the 1st Quarter Earthquake and Fire Drill last 10 March, which focused on the PGB departments’ and tenants’ Disaster Focal Persons (DFPs), the 2nd quarter drill involved evacuation of the entire PGB workforce and Bunker tenants. The drill also included medical responders from the Provincial Health Office (PHO), the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), and the Balanga City Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (CDRRMO) employing their aerial ladder for rescue.
The drill started with a ceremonial alarm press led by Governor Albert S. Garcia, Vice Governor Ma. Cristina M. Garcia, PDRRMO OIC Glenn Diwa, PNP Provincial Director Rommel Velasco & Col Alfredo Solomon, Bataan BFP Chief Francis Pereña Jr., Security Consultant Armin Nocon, and Bunker Property Manager Mark Castro.
The year-long series of drills is a collaboration with the PMO and the Bunker’s Disaster Control Group, that include the Provincial Engineer’s Office, Provincial Information Office, Provincial General Services Office, and the Bunker Facilities Manager, Alloy MTD Bataan.
